People often think that codependency is one partner becoming overly reliant on the other. In reality, it can be found in any relationship whether this is parents and children or even friends. For example, one of the most common symptoms is a feeling of being trapped or helpless. You don’t feel in control of your life, whether day to day or with the overall path of your life. In some cases, you might even start to feel defeated and this loss of motivation is easily visible to those around you. Burnout counseling in Minnesota is designed to help you cope with the stress of the world and find ways to get through when you find yourself feeling this way. You may have more self-doubt than normal or you may feel alone. Even with a loving partner, children, pets, family, and friends, you can still feel a detachment, and this can be scary for someone who hasn’t felt it before.
